Laundry - Ojai Health and Rehab

Ojai Health and Rehabilitation is looking for full time Laundry attendant who is available to work M-F 10AM - 6:30PM.

Job Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring residents have access to clean and well-maintained linens and clothing.

This role involves handling laundry services efficiently while following all sanitary guidelines and maintaining an organized inventory of supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Ensure a sufficient supply of clean linen is available for residents' care and comfort.


* Maintain linens in good condition, removing any items with holes or stains from service.


* Collect residents' laundry daily or as needed.


* Label new residents' clothing items as required.


* Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens.


* Deliver clean laundry to residents' rooms in a timely manner.


* Follow all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry operations.


* Maintain an inventory of laundry supplies and notify management of replenishment needs.


* Operate all laundry equipment safely and efficiently.


* Report any laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.

Education and Experience:


* High school diploma or GED required.


* At least one year of experience in a similar role preferred.

Language Skills:


* Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions related to laundry and housekeeping procedures.

Mathematical Skills:


* Basic math skills required.

Reasoning Ability:


* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to seek assistance when needed.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:


* No certifications required.
