Engineering Quality Intern (Metrology tools)
This position requires working on site in Dublin, CA 20-40 hours per week starting immediately or within a few weeks from an offer.
This position requires hands on ability with metrology tools: Vernier Caliper and Micrometer and will require a demonstration of your abilities on these tools.

Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to become a part of our Quality team.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in quality assurance processes, supplier management, and part inspection methodologies within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for quality, a curious mindset, and a commitment to going the extra mile to uphold and improve product quality.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Responsibilities
* Supplier Quality Assessment: Assist in evaluating and monitoring supplier performance through data analysis and quality metrics.
Participate in supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
* Part Inspection: Conduct inspections of supplier parts and materials to verify conformance to specifications.
Utilize measurement tools and techniques to assess quality and document findings accurately.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections performed, including details on conforming and non-conforming parts.
Prepare reports that summarize inspection findings and supplier performance metrics for evaluation.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Quality leadership and cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and procurement, to address quality issues and implement improvements.
* Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing inspection processes and supplier quality management.
