Control & Signaling (C&S) is an activity part of Industry Automation Business Unit / Industrial Controls & Drives line of business of Schneider Electric.

Products portfolio of C&S activity includes :

• Electromechanical products for machine control panel (Pushbuttons, Switches, Pilot lights, joysticks, Control Station & Enclosures,...)

• Electronic elements for control panel (biometric switches, wireless and batteryless buttons)

• Industrial electromechanical and electronic relays

• Tower lights, beacons and sound products

You will integrate our Research and Development team in Bangalore of C&S activity, part of dynamic, engaged Research and Development C&S team in which customer centric mindset, innovation, collaboration, goals achievements in requested leadtime are key day-to-day values.

You will report hierarchically to our Bangalore team leader and will report functionally to our eco-referent located in Singapore.

You will support our eco-referent engineer and you will work on environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and support teams to commercialize best in class Environmental performance products based on Eco-design practices as well as ensuring compliancy to sustainability and environmental standards.

You will interact with teams located in France, Singapore and India.

Your missions :

• Support our eco-referent engineer in all sustainability / environmental tasks needed for current and new products/projects

• Support to implement more eco-innovative solution for existing and new offers to improve sustainability within C&S activity.


* Support to realize and update the product environmental profiles (PEP) and environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

• Maintain the environmental data coverage of the existing and new offers to meet targets.

• Ensure proper marking & documentation for new offers on the products according standards.

• Continually monitor regulations, ensure compliance and keep all data up-to-date data for our customers in our specific database as per latest standards.

• Answer customers' requests on various environmental topics such as substances regulation, POP,IHM, TSCA, SCIP etc..

• Ensure reporting to our eco-referent engineer

• Support deployment and implementation of sustainability, environmental and circular economy actions for existing offers and new offers defined by our eco-referent engineer

• Participate to Environmental/Sustainability instances of Schneider Electric, participate to communities and working group

• Implement the corporate tools and methodologies

Qualifications

We are looking for profile who has...

• Master or Engineering school degree

• Experience of at least 7 years in Engineering & Design, material, eco-referent support field

• Extensive knowledge and experience in regulations like REACH, RoHS, CA Prop65, WE...
