Electronics Components Technology Engineer

We're looking for a Technology Standardization Principal Engineer to focus on Power Electronics.
In this position, you'll develop standardization campaigns with Product Owners, Procurement, and Innovation Teams, and provide technical consulting and training to various lines of business and manufacturing plants.
Success in this role requires monitoring market trends and Schneider's application needs while building a strong Technical Network.
Wat will you do in this position?
* Define and deploy global technology standardization initiatives.
* Monitor market trends and develop technology roadmaps.
* Support design projects, including:
+ Component and technology need definition and selection
+ Risk management.
+ Failure analysis.
+ Alternate sourcing (addressing shortages, productivity, multi-sourcing, quality, etc.).
* Introduce new technology in collaboration with our internal Expertise Lab.
* Make critical decisions during challenging situations, such as shortages, project or plant blockages, and quality issues.
* Conduct technical training and seminars, independently or with key suppliers.
* Develop and maintain a global technical library of policies and guidelines.
* Create standard components in alignment with technology standardization efforts.
* Develop and animate technical networks to enhance collaboration.
* Collaborate effectively on a global scale.
Who will you report to? Technology & Standardization Americas Zone Manager.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related engineering/technical discipline is required.
* At least 10 years of experience in product design and/or technology groups.
* Experience with major suppliers in the electronics industry and data analytics.
* Strong project management skills (both Waterfall and Agile methodologies).
* Proven ability to work effectively in large, multicultural teams across different time zones.
* Assertive communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to travel internationally as required.
* Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and curious.
* Proficiency in English is mandatory.
