What you will do
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for delegating and supervising work, managing work schedules, developing maintenance plans, mentoring and coaching staff, managing departmental budget, overseeing quality and safety of work, enforcing safety regulations, and participating in special projects as needed:
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement maintenance procedures and strategies to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and systems.
* Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
* Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs and ensure smooth operations.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses to inform budget planning and resource allocation.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
* Supervise and mentor maintenance staff to ensure high performance and productivity.
* Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective maintenance operations.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and procedures.
* Plan and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, building, structures and other facilities.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Participate in special projects as needed.
