Network Administrator (full time)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training
Certification in Microsoft and/or Cisco
Minimum of five years of experience in information technology
Experience in the day-to-day operation of LAN/WAN networks including Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Aruba, voice, data, servers, SAN Storage, NAS, Active Directory and backups
Proficiency in troubleshooting network environments
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
High level of adaptability to organizational and technological change
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
Design, install, and support Local and Wide Area Networks
Provide technical support for infrastructure, Cisco VoIP system, Microsoft servers, software, AD, O365 and peripherals
Manage and maximize the return on hardware and software investments
Orchestrate the rollout of upgrades or new installations for network and banking applications
Performs the installation and testing of system hardware and/or software and operating systems
Integrating SQL queries with other automation tools for end-to-end workflows
Leveraging PowerShell and other scripting tools to streamline workflows
Update project plans, showing implementation status and resource utilization
Identify and perform necessary repairs to system hardware and/or software applications and operating systems
Restore network operating systems and refer unsolved problems to appropriate third-party vendors
Work with the Network Team to design and implement disaster recovery processes and business continuity procedures
Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks
Implement and manage security measures to protect network infrastructure and data
Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
Act as a liaison with subcontracted companies regarding network operating system and/or application issues
Oversee the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware
Ensure service levels are met in accordance with agreements
Train others in the proper use of hardware and software
Monitor and report network and systems availability levels to management
Research hardware/software and operating systems literature to maintain current industry knowledge
Understand and comply with the Bank's mission, organizational structure, employee handbook, bank security, policies and procedures, and standards of conduct
Perform other duties as needed or assigned
