Account Resolution Assistant

REPORTS TO: Billing Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:


* High School Graduate or equivalent; or currently enrolled in high school


* Current Pharmacy Technician Licensure preferred


* Course in Medical Terminology helpful


* Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)


* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


* Professionalism with all interactions both internally/externally


* Problem solving skills


* Strong attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES:


* All States - daily PDC/ADMINS/FORMAL notices


* All applicable states - prepare, notate, and update coding for accounts going to collections


* Mail out statements to patients when an address has been updated upon request.


* Return mail


* Process payments that come in through mail


* Process payments that come in via email


* Patient account address updates sent in via lock box (addresses, PPA)


* E-view file exact file review, validate and update as required


* Returned checks processing


* Back up to phones as required


* Customer agreements scan into ECM and update accounts as applicable


* Inventory on envelopes


* Mail pick up


* ACH payments follow up with customer to obtain current information as required


* Load CC/ACH for new/current accounts as required


* Other duties as required by supervisor

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physically able to sit, talk, hear for extended periods throughout the work day; stand, walk, push/pull, and reach on a regular to seldom basis.

Repetitive hand motions on a frequent basis including fingering, grasping and handling.

Ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or on computer screens.

Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs
