Remote Account Management - Contractors

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Remote Account Manager who will be responsible for the development and growth of sales to electrical contractors in the greater Quebec or Montreal regions.

You must be a knowledgeable, passionate, and results-oriented individual who wants to make a difference in sales by providing value and outstanding customer service.

What will you do?



* Prospect, identify and qualify potential sales opportunities


* Follow up on projects and negotiate sales prices with contractors


* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed territory objectives


* Work closely with external marketing and sales teams.


* Work on pricing strategies based on market conditions and changing dynamics of the region.


* Maintain post-sales relationship, cultivate, develop and maintain long term customer relationships.

* College or Bachelor's degree with an electrical emphasis


* 3-5 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry


* Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.


* Proven sales, presentation and negotiation skills


* Effective written and verbal communication skills


* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills


* Willingness and ability to travel 5-10% within the region


* Functional knowledge of English and French is required.

Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
