Senior Software Security Engineer
For this U.S.
based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We are seeking a talented Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our global team.
This role is instrumental in ensuring the security of our software products.
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for both hands-on implementation and strategic coordination of our secure development lifecycle processes.
You will act as a cybersecurity expert, guiding the development of new features, validating designs, and supporting product teams with best practices.
Your expertise will help us advance our cybersecurity capabilities and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

What will you do?
* Execute (~30-50%) hands-on with the Team implementing and evaluating software security capabilities and (~70-50%) coordinating secure development lifecycle process, priorities, and roadmap for long-term releases.
* Act as an expert on cybersecurity capability, features, and risks associated with offers within their scope.
* Specify the development of new cybersecurity features, validate the adequacy of the design/architecture with the specifications.
* Understand Schneider Electric's SDL, and act in a role of the advisor - define and support execution at the right level for each offer, program, and project.
* Support product owners in specifying and prioritizing security requirements, defining acceptance criteria and bring expert knowledge of relevant CS standards and regulations.
