Supply Chain Analyst--Entry Level/New Grad opportunities will be responsible for quoting, purchasing, and expediting materials and supplies from vendors.

As well as maintaining vendor relationships, focusing on quality, cost and delivery.

Qualifications:


* Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree required
+ A degree in one of the following majors preferred:
o Business
o Supply Chain Management
o Operations Management


* Prior industry experience preferred.


* Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.


* Prior Oracle experience preferred.


* Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred.

Potential Responsibilities:


* Maintain supplier performance scorecards, which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and cost.


* Maintain supplier documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers.


* Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen activities.


* Authorize payment of invoices


* Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation for merchandise.


* Purchase and expedite all components and services related to the manufacture of finished product, maintenance, repair and operations requirements.


* Initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers.
