About the Role:

We have an exciting opening for a High Voltage Supervisor to join the team at our Wagerup Refinery! The position reports directly through to our Electrical Superintendent.

This role is a Monday to Friday Days only roster.

As an Alcoa Supervisor you will play a large part in the success of work execution and people engagement.

This front-line leadership role is responsible for mentorship and coaching others to reach their full potential whilst developing and upholding very high standards in safety, electrical maintenance practices whilst guiding diverse teams to achieve its goals in all areas of the business.

Performing all tasks in a safe and efficient manner and with active dedication to driving improvements in safe behaviour and safety systems, this role is responsible for:


* Coordinating the efficient operation of the site High Voltage Electrical Network


* The High Voltage Supervisor main responsibility is to work with the High Voltage Co-Ordinator to ensure High Voltage maintenance and breakdowns are conducted around site in accordance with the required standards.


* Responsible for writing HV switching  programs, in accordance with policies and procedures and in line with WHS (Mines) regulations and WAESTD62 standards.


* Work delivery & technical coordination & Alcoa Responsible Person (ARP) for contractors


* Managing costs within agreed levels and reporting variances


* Supervising Electrical Tradespeople, and liaising with contractors and stakeholders at the Wagerup


* providing leadership, training and development of the team


* monitoring workloads to optimise the use of labour


* effectively handling industrial relations within the area of responsibility; and


* developing and maintaining positive working relationships.
