Project Management Office (PMO) Manager
The PMO Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of 4-6 Project Managers (PMs) and ensuring the successful execution of utility CIS (Customer Information System) software implementations and related projects.
The role will focus on driving standardization in project management processes, ensuring on-time delivery, and improving team performance, while working closely with key stakeholders in R&D, Sales, and Delivery.

The PMO Manager will also actively manage projects and serve as a senior project manager, directly handling complex projects alongside team leadership responsibilities.
This includes running key initiatives, working closely with key stakeholders in R&D, Sales, and Delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Team Leadership & Oversight:
* Manage and provide leadership to 4-6 PMs, ensuring efficient execution of project activities and on-time delivery.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of project managers, ensuring that project plans, status updates, and documentation are in alignment with organizational standards.
* Mentor and coach PMs, providing guidance on best practices for project management processes.
* Support PMs in addressing and resolving issues related to project delays, risks, and conflicts.

Project Management & Process Standardization:
* Standardize all project management documentation (e.g., project plans, status reports, risk logs) in both format and storage location to improve consistency and efficiency.
* Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of project management methodologies, ensuring alignment with Waterfall processes and Agile development within the organization.
* Collaborate with PMs to ensure that projects are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives, contributing to the successful completion of projects in line with customer expectations.
* Lead and document project management processes, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices across the organization
* While running projects, this position is responsible for managing the customer relationships during implementations and ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.
There is a responsibility for project profitability, timely realization of revenue, and ensuring that they and the implementation team members maintain an expected level of billable utilization.
3.
Stakeholder Interaction & Communication:
* Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including Directors of R&D, Sales, VP of PS, and SVP of Delivery, to provide project updates and escalate issues when necessary.
* Provide valuable input into strategic decision-making around project prioritization and resource allocation, with final decisions made by senior leadership.
* Lead sales demos, presenting the project management process to potential clients to demonstrate the organization’s capabilities in delivering projects on time and within scope.
