Exercise Specialist – Science Dr Medical Center – Part Time

Work Schedule :

50% FTE, day/evening, and night shifts.

Various day and evening hours.

Saturdays on a rotating basis.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to:


* Supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym.


* Conduct initial interviews and evaluate new members to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions.


* Orient new participants to the rules of the facility.

Qualifications



* Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field Required

Work Experience



* Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults Required


* Previous healthcare experience Preferred


* Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Current CPR/AED certification Required
