GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the general direction of the Director of Construction, The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for the managerial and administrative oversight of new construction projects, focusing on large-scale or complex initiatives that may involve budgets.

This role includes planning, organizing, directing, and executing projects while managing construction progress and ensuring the implementation of overall design specifications.

This role will evaluate design elements, develop recovery schedules as needed, and assess project risks, working collaboratively with team members to enhance safety and quality standards.

Additionally, the Senior Construction Project Manager will interact with consultants, engineers, vendors, and regulatory agencies, representing the Authority's interests while maintaining confidentiality during contract negotiations.

This position allows for considerable independent judgment in the technical aspects of multiple high-priority tasks.
