Territory Manager - Queensland

The Territory Manager is responsible for the achievement of sales, profit, and focused growth targets in the Rural, Irrigation, Plumbing, Hardware & OEM markets through regular customer visits, sales territory planning, account development planning, and the implementation of key account business development plans.

About the role


* Successfully achieve and contribute to allocated revenue budgets and focused growth targets.


* Develop and execute business plans for key customers and generate an effective customer contact plan.


* Identify growth opportunities and establish new accounts whilst using CRM software.

Manage all customer service and product related issues and queries.


* Organise and conduct ongoing product training for customers and end users.


* Maintain existing and plan and install new merchandising systems for customers.


* Complete effective sales reporting, and report on competitor activity, industry trends, and general market intelligence within the territory.


* Manage and support national and regional promotional and marketing activities within the territory.


* Ensure customer inventory requirements and revenue projections are accurately forecasted and work with the regional sales team to ensure reduction of excess inventory is at agreed annual levels

About you


* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.


* Demonstrated experience in B2B sales.


* Demonstrated experience presenting to and training small-medium size groups


* Understanding of hydraulic principles in relation to water movement


* Understanding of rural, plumbing, irrigation, hardware and OEM markets
