Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world's leading brands and companies, is actively seeking a Site QA Supervisor - Alaska, United States (Regular, Full Time) to join our Technical Inspection Services team in Alaska.

This is a 24 month project.

Job Title: Site QA Supervisor - Alaska, United States (Regular, Full Time)

Project Duration/Schedule: This role begins January 2025.

It's a 3 & 3 rotation.

3 weeks on and off.

You will work 12 hour days or 84 hours when you're on.

Location: Alaska, United States

What you'll do:


* Supervise QA Inspection team at Pikka site.

The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.

What it takes to be successful in this role:


* Must be able to walk long distances


* Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl


* Must be able to stand for extended durations


* Must be able to reach in all directions


* Must have good visual acuity with regards to color, depth perception and field vision


* Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures


* Must be alert and able to determine job related hazards and recognize when hazards change


* Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally


* Must be able to work well in a team environment and clearly and professionally communicate with other team members


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:


* Industry standard certifications preferred (CWI, API, etc.)


* 10+ years of inspection experience on-site during construction in Piping and Mechanical Rotating Equipment


* Familiar with/able to interpret and understand a) national codes and standards and b) specifications, drawings, and data sheets as they are related to multi-discipline construction and/or pipe projects


* Proficient Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
