Senior, Digital Workplace Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Office 365 Analyst to join our team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless deployment of new Office 365 versions along with other M365 solutions across our global organization.

The responsibilities include supporting and validating new and existing features of Office 365 for the entire tenant, providing insights based on daily usage, and ensuring all deployments meet our high standards of functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in evaluating technical solutions and collaborate with other teams to implement solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform.

• Collaborate with team members, business partners, and other stakeholders to review and refine user stories.

• Utilize analytical skills to interpret complex information and generate reports.

• Actively participate in problem resolution, set priorities when appropriate, and escalate issues to vendors when needed.

• Assist with production planning and deployment.

• Provide ongoing support for applications to clients.

• Gather user support data and develop reports.

• Conduct discovery sessions and assist business partners with new integrations.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 3 to 5 years of experience in the following technologies:

ü Test and validate new versions of Office 365 before global deployment, ensuring all features function as expected.

ü Conduct thorough testing of new and existing features in Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and others.

ü Provide insights and feedback based on daily usage of Office 365 apps to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.

ü Create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for all validation activities.

ü Assist in creating user guides and training materials to help end-users adapt to new features and updates.

ü Stay updated with the latest Office 365 updates and best practices to continuously improve the validation process.

ü Medium/advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.

ü Experience with Microsoft 365 Exchange Online migration, implementation, and support.

ü Perform legal hold and eDiscovery of data across the M365 suite.

ü Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot email gateways and security (Mimecast, Cisco IronPort, etc.).

ü Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Connect, DNS, DHCP, and group policy concepts.

ü Querying transaction logs, audits, and security logs to collaborate with the security team for investigations.

ü ITIL process knowledge.

Certification is advantageous.

ü Experience working with Microsoft 365 federated environments (Guest Access, B2B collaboration, etc.).

ü Advanced troubleshooting skills.
