Building Automation Project Manager

For this United States based position, the expected compensation range is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Building Automation Project Manager

What will you do?


* This position is typically held by an individual that has at least 6+ years' experience as a Project Engineer, or combined years of system application engineering or technician experience.

This position plans, directs and coordinates activities of project teams to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with all company and site safety requirements, accomplished on time, implemented at or below the estimated cost, and billed in a timely fashion throughout the duration of the project.


* Project managers must have building automation and controls industry knowledge, strong communication skills, strong understanding of contracting procedures and experience with responsibilities such as project correspondence, documentation, timely notice of changes and claims, negotiation and subcontract and vendor management.

This individual should have a strong understanding of HVAC and BMS systems as well as practical understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and standards.


* They must exhibit strong leadership skills including directing activity of team members and the ability to empower others through delegating responsibility.

Project managers report into the Operations Manager, or a Program Manager in larger operations teams.
