The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* Current national certification, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA are required.


* Current AZ state license is a plus.

* Regional EMS base hospital and largest regional referral hospital of the system located on the east side of Tucson.


* Adult Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with 24/7 emergency services.


* 2024 ED volume averages 70-80 patients per day (aging geriatric population) with a 33% admit rate, 11% critical care.


* Women's and OB Center with low acuity NICU.


* Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and Vituity scribe support.

Mary's Hospital - Tucson, Arizona


* The first and oldest hospital in continuous operation in all of Arizona (since 1880).

Located on the west side of Tucson near downtown.


* 2024 ED volume averages 80-90 patients per day (underserved population) with a 20% admit rate, 7% critical care.


* STEMI Receiving Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Comprehensive Structural Heart Center.


* 24/7 in-house hospitalists and intensivists.


* Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation and Vituity scribe support.


* Regional EMS base hospital, Inpatient Geriatric Psych Unit, and Bariatric Center.


* Contracted hospital with Arizona Department of Corrections for inmates.
