Peaklogix, an Alta Equipment company, is an industry leader in the Material Handling market segment providing innovative solutions that simplify the warehouse order fulfillment experience and introduces new efficiencies that increase productivity when fulfilling customer orders.

Peaklogix is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated experienced Software Engineer to join our PickPro WMS product development team in either our Syracuse, NY or our Richmond, VA office, on a hybrid model.

We are specifically looking for professionals with 5-10 years of development experience with a BS in Information Systems or Computer Science.

Primary Duties:

You will work closely with our architects and senior developers to learn our product and how our customers use our product to gain efficiencies through automation in their warehouses, distribution centers, and in their manufacturing facilities.

You will apply this information to:


* Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.


* Testing and deploying programs and applications.


* Troubleshoot, debug, maintaining and improving existing software.


* Act as the technical lead for assigned clients and be the technical liaison with those clients

Position Requirements:


* BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering


* 5+ years doing full stack web development.


* 5+ years of experience creating DLLs and using web services.

Experience with communication with other applications and/or hardware devices using sockets, database tables, Web Services, or via a communication middleware is highly desirable.


* 5+ years of experience utilizing source code control software.


* 5+ years developing software using: .Net Core, Angular, WPF, Java, JavaScript, SQL, C++ or C#.


* 2+ years' experience doing web UI development.


* Experience in Warehouse Management Software (optional)


* Experience in an Agile environment (optional)


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


* Strong interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
