Production Operator - Entry Level - (Lewiston)

You’ll be a great fit if you can:
* Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.
* Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
* Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned.
* Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery and workstations which provide the opportunity to quickly gain skills, learn and promote.
* Assist with mill clean-up. Most employees are quickly promoted from this role into something more advanced and specialized.
* Maintain acceptable production levels.
* Other duties as needed.

To be considered you will need the ability to:
* Work various shifts, days, and overtime as needed
* $2/hr shift differential for qualified night and weekend shifts
* Overtime pays at time and a half!
Use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose
Adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust) as we are working in a loud, industrial environment!
Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check
What will put you over the top:
* A high school diploma or GED
The Physical Demands of this job include:
Sitting and/or standing for a full shift, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distance, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
