Job Summary: 

The Buyer / Strategic Sourcing Specialist position requires a high level of attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include corporate purchasing, data processing, vendor relations, and supply chain support.

Previous experience in procurement processing is highly encouraged. 

Duties/Responsibilities:


* Prepares and issues procurement expenditures.


* Maintains accurate and organized records of all purchase activities


* Requests and prepares bid quotations


* Tracking and coordinating material shipments and deliveries


* Procurement purchase reconciliations


* Inventory and material support which may include cycle counts


* Generates, develops, and maintains supplier relationships


* Resolves vendor related issues or disputes


* Additional assignments maybe requested by management

Skills and Competencies:


* Knowledge or NetSuite or other procurement systems is preferred


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of management


* Excellent organizational skills with attention-to-detail


* Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks


* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality


* Excellent planning and decision-making skills


* Ability to resolve escalated issues in a timely manner


* Multitasking is essential

Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications:


* Bachelor's degree required preferably in Business, Supply Chain or other related disciplines.


* Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in corporate procurement


* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite notably Microsoft Excel
