About the role: -

Americold is seeking someone who will be responsible for strengthening the maintenance team through administration and to maintain / operate computerised maintenance management system and finance Software to deliver effective maintenance to our facilities team.

Please note - We are looking to commence this role in January 2025.

What you'll Do: -


* Administration: Assist the Facilities, Engineering, and maintenance management team to effectively maintain the administration of the computerized management system (Oracle) and any other administration duties required.


* Contractors Data: Ensure all required administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner, including Contractors permits, Contracts and certificates (Insurance) entry to Oracle and maintain excel sheets.


* Purchase Order Management: Understanding of purchase order process including raising/receipting electronic purchase orders, and GL coding.


* Communication: Communicate, on a daily basis with the maintenance and engineering team on Invoices, Purchase orders and Work Orders if required.


* Inventory Management: Assist with the critical spare parts inventory, including stock take and ordering of supplies for planned & reactive maintenance work order.


* Customer Service: Accountable for the delivery of service excellence to all internal and external customers and the promotion of a positive customer service culture.


* Continuous Improvement: Continuously review work processes to identify improvement opportunities and make recommendations


* Housekeeping: Keeps work area clean and performs housekeeping duties as required.

Performs related work and other job assignments as required.

What Experience and Education You Need: -


* Relevant qualification or demonstrated high level administrative and customer service skills


* At least three years related work experience


* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office


* Exceptional attention to detail


* Basic mechanical/electrical/computer knowledge and aptitude required.Mathematical and documentation skills necessary.


* Demonstrates initiative and a can-do attitude.
