Planner/Scheduler
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Responsible for executing all jobs (standard and non-standard & RMA - plan, create, release, and modify.
* Schedule, track, and communicate job information.
Schedule sales order and related planning functions
* Contact Doc Control when part does not exist in PHL
* Create and maintain BOM and routing information in Oracle
* Utilize Oracle for planning production requirements, component availability and inventory control.
* Communicate with team to determine material requirements.
Identify material shortages.
* Participates in purchasing initiatives, cost reduction programs, etc.
Request quotes from suppliers
* Submit Purchase Requisitions (Inventory & Expense) for project materials with approved suppliers or between sites.
Provide status on inventory availability.
* Expedites and tracks critical materials, as necessary.
Oversee accompanying documentation.
* Interface with purchasing to ensure material requirements for orders are met.
Monitor promise and delivery dates.
* Release jobs in ATE/MES.
* Complete Misc Transactions for items issued to Engineering/Buy back material
* Ensure resources are properly allocated and assigned to support jobs.
Document the movement of material and product flow through lab
* Assist team with on-going inventory needs.
* Create blanket orders as needed - monitor billing and approvals with AP.
Communicate Purchase Orders with suppliers
* Monitor WIP, Work Order Aging and Finished Goods Inventory
* Maintain inventory stock/cycle counts
* Complete Work-Orderless completions for shipments
* Notify Finance for items that require manual cost changes
* Contact Tax Manager for Supplier Tax Exemptions
* Ensure completed work orders are technically closed in a timely manner.
Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in planning/scheduling role within fast-paced R&D organization.
Skills
* Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines while working multiple activities simultaneously.
* Strong working knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems
* Work knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
