Vascular Sonographer

Work Schedule :

40, 32 or 24 hours per week options (Full and Part-Time positions).

You may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Monday - Friday day shift with variable start times.

At University Hospital: Saturday and Sunday shifts 8:00AM - 4:30PM on a reasonable rotational basis.

One hour call response time.

Call is at University Hospital only in rotation with other sonographers.

The team supports coverage across the Madison area.

Pay :


* External hires may be eligible for up to a $10,000.00 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

The procedures include; transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements, Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation procedures.

* Join our Cardiovascular Imaging Lab that is accredited by the IAC - in both Echo and Vascular Imaging.


* Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area

Qualifications



* Graduate of an ultrasonography program Required


* Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasonography training program Preferred


* Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or a relevant health sciences field Preferred

Work Experience



* 2 years of vascular imaging experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Registered in vascular ultrasound (RVT or RVS) Upon Hire Required


* Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required


* Registered in vascular and echocardiography ultrasound (RVT or RVS and RCS or RDCS) Preferred
