The County of Riverside's Aviation Division within the Transportation and Land Management Agency (TLMA) has a vacancy for an Airport Coordinator I/II (Administrative Services Analyst I/II) located at the French Valley Airport in Murrieta, California.

The Administrative Services Analyst I/II will assist with office and field work involved in the management of airport tenants to include management of airport leases and accounts, and Airport Rules and Regulations enforcement.

Additional responsibilities will include answering phones, issuing tenant notices, scheduling meetings, managing hangar rentals, performing calculations for annual Consumer Price Index lease increases, gathering and researching information from a variety of sources including other county departments such as the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, and assisting in the preparation and processing of various documents and reports (mileage logs, airport inspections, expense reports, statistical reports, appraisals, etc.).

The Administrative Services Analyst I/II must be politically savvy with great communication skills as this position will have to initiate difficult conversations regarding rules and regulations enforcement, past due accounts, and airport development.

The department desires candidates with a high level of attention to detail since the incumbent will be managing contracts, tenant accounts, and other documentation.

Prior related experience in aviation is desired but not necessary.

Candidates must have good computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word as well as excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Collect, organize and analyze program or project data.

• Conduct needs assessment and determine program priorities.

• Ensure implementation of programmatic, organizational, administrative, budgetary, financial, and personnel elements of a variety of aviation programs.

• Arrange facilities for the staging of various special events, conferences and meetings.

• Review routine property and equipment lease agreements, subcontracts, change orders, and contract extensions.

• Participate in coordinating and meeting with agencies, technical consultants, County personnel, and other involved persons to negotiate contract terms, work schedules and budgets.

• Negotiate routine contracts.

• Answer airport inquires.

• Perform research or analytical duties in the development of plans, projections, evaluations, recommendations, and statistical and narrative reports.
