Associate HR Business Partner

Overview

This role will partner with our HR business partner team to work across the Bank including all divisions on employee relations, performance management, accommodations, reporting and HR projects as needed.

This role reports to the Vice President over HR Business Partners in our People & Culture organization.

Responsibilities



* Employee Relations
+ Conduct investigations and intake discussions on employee complaints/ issues
+ Partner with appropriate stakeholders to manage disciplinary actions and next steps
+ Compile documentation and prepare a summary of the investigation to develop fair outcomes
+ Track and report investigations on an ongoing basis based on resolution, frequency and root cause
+ Provide reporting and trends to Human Resources and other senior leadership within the Bank


* Manager/ Employee Liaison
+ Provide guidance to employees regarding bank policy interpretation, career development, talent programs, performance concerns and questions
+ Provide coaching and guidance to front line leaders on HR policy/ process, performance management, and other employee needs
+ Facilitate communication and basic conflict resolution between manager and employee as needed
+ Consult and support the accommodation request process


* Performance Management
+ Provide support to HR business partner team on talent reviews and year end calibration
+ Partner with managers to address employee performance concerns and guide managers through appropriate documentation and communication
+ Support and steer the process through final outcome


* Reporting
+ Create and maintain monthly reports using Sharepoint and Workday
+ Collaborate with internal HR teams to provide accurate data and presentation of performance, hires, leaves, turnover or other relevant “people” data that drives decisions
+ Manage physical and electronic data files


* HR Projects as needed

Qualifications



* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or commensurate experience with 2+ years of relevant HR experience. 


* Strong communication and team orientation to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, leaders and stakeholders.


* Strong time management skills and a can-do attitude with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously


* Ability to manage change and solve problems with a focus on agility and results orientation


* A demonstrated commitment to fairness and equity and full confidentiality


* Travel 5%

Salary: $93,300-$119,000
