 The Position Proposition: Fleet Service Advisor / Scheduler                                                                                  Â
* Work order management:
* Initiates repair orders, enters tech notes concerning parts on orders, reviews for accuracy and obtains approval for repairs for all company owned assets above set thresholds before finalizing.
* Scheduling appointments for vendor repairs
* Keeps Vehicle and Equipment data base current
* Track daily Vehicle kilometers /hours and Heavy Equipment hours
* Update Repair and Maintenance records with current service and PM status
* Work with R&M personnel for servicing requirements
* Monitor progress of actual planned maintenance and repairs for light vehicles
* Communicate with vendors / jobsites of planned maintenance
* Assist in scheduling work, answering questions and advising on repairs within established guidelines.
Reviews technician time postings for accuracy.
* Knowledge and use of industry terminology, for accurate service writing /estimating and parts requesting.
* Assists the service manager in assuring that the shop is following governmental regulations, safety guidelines, company policies.
And ensuring all manuals and other resources are up to date.
