People Business Partner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serve as both a strategic and operational business partner, providing support to the Retail Operations team.
Focus on enhancing work relationships, boosting morale, and increasing retention
* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, approve disciplinary actions, and conducts effective, thorough, timely, and objective investigations
* Responsible for the interpretation of HR policies and processes, while ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures
* Collaborate with business leaders to identify priorities and translate business requirements into effective HR practices, delivering solutions that align with organizational objectives
* Support Store Leaders with the administration of benefits, FMLA, LOA, and ADA compliance
* Contribute to the development and implementation of change management strategies that support the critical evolution of the business, ensuring the achievement of sustainable and long-term business results
* Proactively identify areas of opportunity to provide leadership development and training
* Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights to management for decision-making and strategic planning
* 20% travel to assigned region to offer in-market HR support to local leaders
Qualifications: Education
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferred
* PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications, preferred
Qualifications: Experience
* 5+ yrs.
Human Resources and Employee relations experience
* Experience in an HR Business partner role in a multi-state retail environment preferred
* Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
* A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record is required

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
* Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
* Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
* A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
* Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making

Compensation & Benefits
