Position Overview –

AJM Packaging Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of paper products, including paper plates, cups, bowls and bags, is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual with experience in researching unauthorized deductions.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk must possess a great work ethic, the ability to solve problems, and work well independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities & Duties –


* Ability to monitor and identify ongoing issues that cause payment delays and unauthorized deductions


* Research deductions daily and process customer refunds


* Contact customers via calls, emails and online portals, with overdue accounts due to unauthorized deductions and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect the balance


* Generate related monthly reports


* Develop, implement and maintain efficient procedures to actively pursue unauthorized deductions and aged receivables


* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and best practices

Minimum Requirements –


* Associate degree in related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred


* Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)


* High attention to accuracy and details


* Ability to prioritize duties and follow-through


* Strong organizational skills


* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Credit Analysis experience is a plus


* Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
