The Lead Evaluation and Cellular Pharmacology team is a part of the Discovery Technologies and Molecular Pharmacology (DTMP) organization, a critical group in the larger Discovery Sciences organization in Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
We are committed to the delivery of high-quality chemical leads and clinical compounds.
This position requires expertise and experience in multiple fields including cellular pharmacology, assay development, and compound profiling with an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Learn and apply state-of-the-art drug discovery approaches in a multidisciplinary team
* Independently execute, troubleshoot, and validate functional cell-based and cell-free assays.
* Profile compounds based on established SOP to enable SAR studies.
* Analyze data and summarize results using standard data analysis template.
* Communicate findings to project teams and governance committees.
Present in internal and external meetings.
Education:
* Minimum of a BS Degree in Immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
* Expertise in validating and executing state-of-the-art cell-based assays
* High proficiency with mammalian cell culture
* Hands-on experience with ELISA, MSD, AlphaLISA, HTRF, FLIPR, Luminex, and other plate-based assays in HTS format (384 or 1536 well)
