Senior FP&A and Internal Control Executive (9 months contract)
Major Responsibilities:
Management Control:
The Senior FP&A and IC Executive will be supporting the FP&A Manager on the following tasks:
* Helping with the preparation of annual budget and 3-year plan.
* Reforecasting to build accurate quarterly estimates and anticipate variances against budget.
* Monitors profitability with a focus on inventory which includes detailed analysis of sales, margin, purchases, stock level and associated depreciation.
* Prepares departments budget and cost follow up.
Organizes monthly review and reforecast with heads of departments.
* Work closely with accounting team to guarantee the accuracy of the financial information, design the analytical structure, and ensure accuracy of cost allocation.
Internal Control:
The Senior FP&A and IC Executive will be supporting the IC Manager on the following tasks:
* Assessment and management of risks on the business and processes.
* Monitor compliance with group procedures, local policies, and relevant laws/regulation.
* Conduct internal control reviews for stores, back office, events and on ad-hoc topics.
* Conduct monthly reviews and analysis on sensitive and high-risk transactions.
* Follow up on audit/internal control recommendations to ensure resolution of relevant risks and findings.
* Conduct testing and complete internal control self-assessment checklists.
* Participates in stock takes and ensure controls on inventory management are well respected.
* Partner with relevant departments and stakeholders to implement, change, or improve processes.
* Conduct trainings/briefings and provide support to stores and office teams on controls and compliance matters.
* Works closely with regional team on internal control initiatives.
Requirements & Capabilities:
* Degree holder in finance or accounting, ideally CA or CPA qualified.
* Minimum 2 years' experience performing in similar capacity.
* Team player with good analytical and communication skills.
* Experience in managing internal controls and evaluating risk is appreciated.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
* Preferably has prior experience with financial software (SAP, CEGID, TM1, Cognos).
