Quality Assurance Analyst

* Performs moderately complex testing and de-bugging tasks according to company's QA process.


* Estimates, plans, schedules, and implements testing projects.  Leads multiple moderately complex projects and/or projects requiring multiple QA Analysts.  Identify and assign resources for projects under the guidance of QA Manager.  Provides project status reports.


* Designs and develops quality testing procedures; updates and modifies existing tests as necessary.  Identifies and implements process improvements.


* Defines test objectives and writes test cases.  Provides guidance on test cases for less senior staff and makes recommendations for improvement.


* Performs moderately complex functional, application, regression and performance tests.  Identifies testing environment needs for projects and coordinates the establishment of the environments.


* Plans and implements automated testing for moderately complex projects.


* Provides support for auxiliary QA responsibilities:


* Review product documentation for completeness and correctness.


* Participate in metrics collection and reporting.


* Provide guidance and support for other QA Analysts.


* Assists product developers and technical product support specialists in solution of moderately complex installation problems.
