Merchandising Systems Intern
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Maverik's Summer Intern Program is designed to provide a structured learning experience, equipping interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career.
The internship will run from May 2025–August 2025, with a commitment of up to 30 hours per week.
This opportunity is exclusively available to full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university.
As a Merch Systems Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the team’s efforts to improve inventory management processes and create sustainable merchandising execution programs.
Summary of Internship Project:
Contributing to the development of KPI analytics and corrective action processes while collaborating on cross-functional merchandising execution strategies.
Throughout this internship, you will achieve the following:
* Gaining valuable experience analyzing data and identifying actionable insights for inventory management.
* Learning how to leverage business systems to track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Developing cross-functional collaboration skills by working with Merchandising Systems, Category Management, and Stores teams.
In this internship, you will work towards:
Supporting the team by:
* Establishing a sustainable process to pull and analyze Merchandising Systems KPI data and identify areas for improvement.
* Using project management techniques to develop a best-in-class merchandising execution program.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create processes that support Merchandising Systems and balance the goals of MPS, Category Management, and Stores.
The successful candidate should possess:
* General data management and analytics skills with a process-oriented and project management mindset.
* Interest in C-Store or Retail operations, supply chain, inventory management, or distribution.
* Proficiency in Office 365.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills.
* An eagerness to learn and contribute to innovative merchandising strategies.
Qualifications:
* A full-time college student who has completed their sophomore year by the beginning of the internship.
* Currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a degree related to the position.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
* Works effectively and cooperatively with others.
