Manager, Maintenance (West Texas)

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all mechanical maintenance activities throughout the region, such as: rotating equipment preventive maintenance program, rotating equipment optimization, Cryogenic Plant equipment, Amine Treating Plant equipment, Gas Turbines, Field Compression, electrical equipment, various types of instrumentation, pneumatic control equipment.
R esponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Supervise, schedule, train and motivate mechanical maintenance staff including mechanics, instrumentation/electrical, and administrative support.
* Establish goals and expectations for assigned work group.
* Strong focus on personnel safety and compliance with company safety policies and practices.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Area Managers and work groups.
* Assure economic operation through proper planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost management.
* Prioritize maintenance efforts across the region through cooperation with leadership personnel, maintenance coordinators, and engineering staff.
* Scheduled preventive maintenance program.
* Unscheduled or emergency maintenance.
* Capital and expensed projects.
* Critical spare inventory
Verify compliance with company specifications, standards, and maintenance procedures.
Coordinate PSM, DOT and other compliance activities.
Ability to identify resources including, contract labor, technical support, equipment, and material procurement required to complete tasks.
Respond to facility emergencies; assist in coordinating the necessary activities to return the assets to full operational capacity.
Monitor contractor safety, competency, quality, and performance.
Communicate and coordinate maintenance activities with gas scheduling group in order to maximize gas volume deliveries.
Ensure preventive maintenance programs establish a high degree of facility reliability and availability.
Ensure correct and complete documentation for environmental compliance and reporting.
