National Accounts – GPO Support Specialist

Georgia-Pacific is looking for a National Accounts - GPO Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support to the National Accounts Manager (NAM) in managing and growing a significant portfolio of group purchasing organizations (GPO).
This role will assist in the development and implementation of value-added strategies that support the overall national accounts vision and create profitable long-term growth for GP.
Our Team
Location: This hybrid role is based in Green Bay, WI and will report to the Sr.
Manager National Accounts Sales Support.
What You Will Do
* Campaign Implementation: Oversee the planning and execution of national account campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery.
* Support Contract Negotiations: Assist NAMs in preparing for and conducting contract negotiations with national GPOs, and cooperatives.
This includes organizing internal and external communications and contributing to the development of negotiation strategies.
* Relationship Management: Help maintain and strengthen relationships with GPOs by supporting cross-functional projects and sales initiatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and account activities using CRM tools and systems.
* Program Execution: Collaborate with key distributor partners to implement programs that align with GPO contracts, driving profitable growth for GP and distribution channels.
* Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between national account managers and internal departments to ensure alignment and effective communication and fulfill client requirements.
* Strategic Partner ship Development: Sup port NAMs in leveraging strategic partnerships to identify and pursue joint business development opportunities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field OR equivalent work experience
* 2 years of experience in sales support or related field
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to travel up to 10%
What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience with business-to-business sales processes involving GPOs or other large national accounts
* Experience with CRM systems like salesforce.com
