Job Description:

The HR Business Manager position is responsible for aligning business objectives with partners (employees) and leadership.

This role integrates HR expertise with leadership strategies, emphasizing employee relations, employment law compliance, workforce optimization, and serving as the conduit between business units and HR centers of excellence.

This position is located onsite at our Home Office Corporate headquarters in Green Bay, WI.

Relocation Benefits:  Receive a $10,000 relocation bonus PLUS a generous relocation package if relocating more than 50 miles for the position.  

What you’ll do


* Works closely with leaders and partners to enhance the partner experience, build morale, increase performance and retention.


* Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the Global HR team to develop retention solutions, programs and policies.


* Partners with HR technical functions (e.g.

HR Systems & Analytics, Compensation, Benefits, Retirement, DEI, Talent Acquisition, Partner Development, Org Design & Performance Management, Payroll) to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment.


* Consults with business unit leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate.


* Serves as a coach for positions at all levels in the organization.


* Provides performance management guidance to leaders and partners (e.g., coaching, career development, policy administration, performance management, offboarding).


* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.


* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.

Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations into harassment, discrimination, and other workplace concerns, providing timely resolution and preventive measures.


* Maintains in-depth subject matter expertise of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of partners, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Liaison with attorneys and employment law agencies.


* Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.


* Leads performance calibrations, talent reviews, and succession planning processes ensuring robust talent development.


* Identifies training needs for business units and individuals.


* Develops and facilitates training.


* Leads training programs on employment law, HR policies, and workplace compliance to educate partners and leaders.


* Stays informed on new legislation, evaluating its impact and recommending necessary changes to maintain compliance.

* Leads HR projects as needed.


* Performs other related duties as assigned.
