Medical Assistant Educator

Join our team at Vancouver Clinic as a Clinical Medical Assistant Educator! You will play a pivotal role in the development, planning, support, and implementation of our Medical Assistant Training Programs.

In this position, you will coach and guide staff to ensure successful program completion, collaborating closely with the Clinical Education Program and department leadership in the organization.

Hiring Range: $24.00/hour to $29/hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:


* Partner with Clinical Nurse Educator Team to develop and implement Clinical Training Programs.


* Support and guide staff throughout the training process.


* Collaborate with the Clinical Education Program and the Organization to achieve training goals.


* Track, maintain training records and results.

Evaluate effectiveness of training.

Qualifications:


* WA State Medical Assistant Certified credential.


* Minimum of two years experience as a medical assistant, preferably in an outpatient primary care setting.


* Strong coaching and mentoring skills.


* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.


* Ability to travel between multiple locations.


* Experience with Epic preferred.


* Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.


* Experience developing curriculum and delivering training in a healthcare setting preferred.

Pay Range:
$22.42 - $31.38

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years.

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked.

Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.

Employees will also enjoy up to six paid holidays per year, depending on schedule.
