* Prepare and cook a variety of appetizing and nutritious meals for residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.


* Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality in meal preparation.


* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage and handling of food items.


* Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.


* Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs.


* Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.


* Assist with special events and catering functions as required.

Qualifications:


* Prior experience as a cook in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred but not required.


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.


* Strong culinary skills and creativity in meal preparation.


* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
