ERTS Mgr Field Ops
The Operations Manager is responsible for providing the full range of management, and supervision required for the successful performance, and completion of projects.
* Directly responsible for the supervision of staff and performance of daily operations.
+ Provide positive leadership.
+ Monitoring and tracking employee attendance and performance.
+ Complete disciplinary actions when required.
+ Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
+ Identify and develop key talent and appropriately manage underperformers to ensure success of all individuals in the department.
+ Communicates to employees the company's goals and objectives.
* Responsible to manage workload within operations.
+ Can directly make operational adjustments as needed.
* Responsible for reviewing and approving SDS's for call center staff for incidentals and incidentals with reporting.
* Responsible for the completion of regulatory reporting on shift.
* Provides day-to-day environmental support to open projects to ensure, compliance with environmental policies, requirements, and procedures.
+ Serves as a technical supervisor on matters relating to environmental spills.
* Responsible for oversite of projects assigned to project specialist, including all phases of spill response, working directly with clients to ensure a timely successful spill cleanup, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction with cost effectiveness in mind.
* Accountable for project managers working within project's detailed scope-of-work to maintain strict compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures.
* Oversees contractors in field to determine sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil.
* Accurately log information from client interactions into ALERT systems; update in a timely and accurate manner so that clients can track services, inquiries, and resolution.
* Dispatching of contractor for excavation, transportation, and disposal of products.
* Responsible for providing employee training and development.
* Providing and maintaining excellent customer service and satisfaction.
* QA/ QC on all ongoing projects.
+ Initial and post of Alerts in system.
+ Ensure that all SOP and client special instruction are performed and are compliant.
* Communicate effectively to contractors, clients, regulatory officials, etc...., through both written and verbal communication
* Return all internal and external calls, emails, and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure that customers' concerns are understood, addressed, and resolved in an efficient and complete manner as possible.
* Maintains professional competency in all aspects of the job.
* May serve on the emergency operations center, as assigned.
* Perform other job-related duties as required.
