Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Yearly Base Pay: $80,000 - $100,000

Work Arrangement: Hybrid-Remote

Clearance Requirement: Must possess Active Secret Clearance

About the role:

Maximus is seeking a skilled Configuration Management Analyst to support vital systems in the defense of our Homeland.

In this hybrid-remote role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the integrity and control of configuration items, collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining robust systems across diverse platforms such as Windows, Linux, and RHEL.

Project Specific Responsibilities:



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document configuration management requirements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration data


* Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures for a variety of different systems, such as Windows, Linux, RHEL, etc.


* Maintaining the configuration management database and repository


* Perform regular audits, review, and documentation for system configurations


* Support cross-functional teams in conducting environment scans and documentation in preparation for upgrades, pitches, disaster recovery, and any other happenings as needed


* Work closely with system admins, network engineers, platform engineers, and other IT staff to ensure documentation and recording of configurations


* Manage the configuration report of all systems and software/hardware across the enterprise environment and identify opportunities for improvement


* Maintain version control of operational configurations for hardware and software


* Work closely with stakeholders to resolve configuration-related issues and discrepancies


* Stay current with industry trends and best practices
