Sterile Processing Manager

Work Schedule :

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position.

Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Manager:


* Responsible for Sterile Processing operations at University Hospital to include expanding the department and hospital, human resources operations, and budgeting.


* Work as an integral team member with Surgical Services, Infection Control, Risk Management and Safety departments.


* Responsible for operating a highly complex department, functioning under the scrutiny of medical professionals, regulatory bodies and Federal and State laws.

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Operations or related field Preferred

Work Experience



* 5 years of progressively responsible lead work, supervisory, or management experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services Required


* 7 years of experience managing a Sterile Processing department and/or materials/inventory management department Preferred


* EPIC/Healthlink Experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Professional Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or CSPDT) Upon Hire Required


* Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification Preferred
