Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.

Build solutions or break down technical problems.

Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.

Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints meet software code development.

Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.

Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.

Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: 3 years of study or 4-year Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Infra Team Lead, Assistant Systems Engineer, Junior System Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Linux; Agile SDLC; Microservices; Jenkins; Spring; Java; Shell Scripting; Apache Tomcat; REST; SOAP; Kubernetes; Cassandra; Oracle; Splunk; and Junit.

Job Location: 1111 Polaris Parkway, Columbus, OH 43240.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
