Data Scientist Marketing Analytics Vice President - Consumer Bank

As a Data Scientist Marketing Analytics Vice President part of Consumer Bank (CB) Marketing Analytics team, you will drive insights that contribute to the continued growth of Chase's deposit account portfolio.

You will be responsible for developing and executing analytical plans to understand the drivers of deposit portfolio growth, both in account opening as well as attrition.

The results and learnings from these analyses, which are highly visible to senior stakeholders, are used to influence future investments in account opening platforms, customer experience optimization, and more.

Job Responsibilities:


* Own the analytics strategy and process for portfolio growth, which is a key roadmap item for Consumer Bank analytics


* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists across CB Marketing Analytics organization as a subject matter expert account opening and attrition


* Consult on experimental design, data collection, and developing new strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and other Data & Analytics teams


* Interpret results and present to stakeholders and senior management including CMO and CEO


* Continuously lead innovation projects to drive more advanced analytics


* Recruit and train talented data professionals from diverse backgrounds and maintain an inclusive team environment across CB Marketing Analytics and CB Test Design teams


* Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate and timely results

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Bachelor's and Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related fields)


* 5+ years of experience in applying statistical methods to real world problems


* 5+ years of experience with SQL and at least one of the following analytical tools: SAS, Python, R


* Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation


* Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Insight/Visual Sciences, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, etc.)


* Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating concisely and effectively with all levels of management and partners

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* Marketing analytics experience preferred


* Tableau preferred


* Python preferred
