Senior Training Specialist

Description & Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Training Specialist to join our team supporting our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.

Position is remote within US.



*Position is contingent on contract award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development and evaluation of comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals.

Design and develop training materials in collaboration with clients and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with clients, business partners and subject matter experts to perform needs analysis, develop learning objectives and design deliverables that meet learner and stakeholder needs and organizational quality standards.
- Provide guidance and coaching to training team on training strategies and program improvements.
- Deliver group training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas.

Project Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.

- 7+ years of relevant experience required.

- With H.S.

diploma, an additional 4 years of experience is required.

With Associate's degree an additional 2 years of experience is required.

- Experience providing guidance and coaching to training specialists.

- Experience in developing curriculum.

- Experience in delivering group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas.

- Experience delivering training to remote students using virtual tools like MS Teams.

- Experience in developing training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.

- Experience in developing instructional materials including simulations, step-by-step procedures, and PowerPoint presentations.

- Experience in coordinating or performing administrative functions necessary to deliver and documenting training programs.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional requirements as per Contract/Client:

- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active IRS Moderate Risk MBI is a plus).

- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years, and be Federal Tax compliant.
