The purpose of this job is to oversee the development and implementation of risk management plans for projects and manage all contractual relationships of Austin Commercial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Oversee the development and implementation of risk management plans for projects and manage all contractual relationships of Austin Commercial.


* Manage review, negotiation, and execution process for contracts, including, but not limited to, Prime Contracts, Master Service Agreements, Subcontract Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Purchase Orders, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales/Purchasing Agreements, Outsourcing Agreements, and Amendments.


* Draft, review, revise, and negotiate contracts and manage document version control and redline process.


* Conduct qualification, proposal, and contract reviews prior to bid submission.


* Identify and develop mitigation for contractual and operational risk in contract documents.


* Work closely with operational team members to ensure understanding of key risks of projects during the proposal, estimating, negotiation, and implementation phases of the project life cycle.


* Report contract status and progress in support of negotiations.


* Provide risk awareness to operational team during project site visits.


* Allocate risk through owner contract negotiations.


* Transfer risk during subcontract/supplier contract negotiations.


* Assist project teams with appropriate documentation and correspondence during disputes/claims.


* Coordinate insurance and bonds through corporate risk management for ongoing projects.


* Ensure compliance with corporate contract review policy.


* Review projects for compliance with company operating policies and contract terms.


* Train project teams about transferring risk through contractual terms.


* Develop and teach training classes regarding contractual terms and conditions.


* Work closely with Legal in drafting and updating contract templates.


* Maintain contract template repository and library of required regulatory, technology and compliance provisions.


* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
