Position Overview
The Procurement Digital Transformation Manager will manage and implement key digital initiatives in the procurement function.
This role requires proficiency in ERP and procurement technology platforms, strong project management abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively across departments to drive results.
Additionally, a familiarity with emerging technologies is essential to identify future opportunities within procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Technology Management: Implement and maintain procurement technology solutions, focusing on ERP, e-sourcing, and supplier management systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure data governance standards are met within procurement systems, focusing on data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Operational Process Improvement: Support operational excellence by optimizing procurement processes, including category management, spend analysis, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Project Management: Oversee digital transformation projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage resources effectively.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across procurement, IT, and finance to ensure alignment on digital initiatives.
Act as a liaison for technical solutions and procurement needs.
- Team Development & Mentorship: Guide and develop team members in the effective use of procurement technologies and data insights, fostering an environment of learning and innovation.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about digital trends in procurement, such as AI and machine learning, and identify opportunities for improvement or new implementations.
