The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis (Bank) is looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) for the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit (SRC) Division.
In this role, reporting to a vice president, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a business line with three teams – Statistics, Support Services, and embedded Business Technology Services.
Each team has a manager with a collective total of 30 staff.
In addition to general management responsibilities over the three teams, you’ll serve as the central administrator for 215 SRC staff.
To be successful is this role, you’ll need a proven ability to think and act strategically while interacting with a diverse group of executives, managers, and professionals.
You must meet critical deadlines, manage ambiguity, work across business units, and deal with difficult situations as routine.
The ability to conduct yourself in a manner that aligns with the Bank values of service, integrity, inclusion, initiative, accountability, and objectivity is paramount.
Responsibilities:
* Represent the Bank through leadership positions at the Federal Reserve System level, including contributing to key System functions and initiatives, and working effectively and collaboratively with senior System decision makers; consider actions within the System that are relevant to the Bank and the division, and work with division leaders and staff to develop plans accordingly.
* Manage the Division budget including processes related to salary administration, travel, and position management.
* Provide administrative leadership to a group of indirect reports who are dedicated to the operations team of the Stress Testing National Program.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for engagement with other Bank departments, e.g.
HRI, Facilities, Audit, IT and Law Enforcement.
* Oversee the Division’s security (electronic and physical) by managing IT assets and access reviews.
* Manage Business Continuity activities for the Division.
* Oversee the Records function and ensure the Division complies with Bank and Board records policies.
* Identify opportunities for improvements and collaboration and create efficiencies across the Division.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable Division, Bank, and System policies, standards, procedures, and controls to ensure the highest level of public confidence and operational integrity.
Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
* An essential function of this position is working onsite on Bank premises. The person in this role is required to work onsite on a full-time basis although ad hoc hybrid working days may be available.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Graduate degree in related field preferred.
