About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Spring Intern to join our Industrial Hygiene team.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety, contributing to projects that enhance workplace safety and health.

Key Responsibilities:


* Conduct sampling and safety improvement projects.


* Actively support the safety team as a contributing member.


* Identify and execute health improvement projects.


* Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), ABS, and department management.


* Present project outcomes at the intern symposium at the end of the spring.

To be successful in this role and to play a part in our ongoing success we desire the following background:

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:


* Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.


* Some background in safety or industrial hygiene is ideal but not critical.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
