The Division of Developmental-Behavioral, Department of Pediatrics at Nemours Children's Hospital (NCH), in Orlando, FL, seeks a full-time pediatrician.

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida , seeks a BC/BE Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join our team in providing exceptional care and advancing research in the field.

As part of our mission to enhance pediatric healthcare, we are seeking a talented Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our team and spearhead the development and management of a fellowship program.

Academic appointment(s) are also available with the University of Central Florida Medical School for qualified applicants.

Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's level of experience.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding clinical care to children with developmental and behavioral concerns, as well as leading the development and implementation of a fellowship program in developmental behavioral pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:


* Provide expert clinical care to children with developmental and behavioral disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.


* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient.


* Serve as a mentor and educator to medical students, residents, and fellows, providing guidance and supervision in the clinical care of pediatric patients.


* Develop and oversee a fellowship program in developmental behavioral pediatrics, including curriculum development, recruitment of fellows, and program evaluation.


* Facilitate research initiatives within the department, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in developmental behavioral pediatrics.


* Engage in community outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness and promote early intervention for developmental and behavioral concerns.

Qualified candidates will be:


* BC/BE in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics


* Eligible for unrestricted medical licenses in Florida

Professional Qualifications/Experience


* Interest and experience in working with a population that has a number of economic, health and educational disparities.

Cultural sensitivity, appreciation and interest in improving the health of an underserved population.


* Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in pediatrics and developmental behavioral pediatrics (or board eligibility).


* Fellowship training in developmental behavioral pediatrics from a recognized program.
